Derek Haigwood serves as chairman of the United States Soybean Export Council (USSEC) and represents Arkansas as a director on the United Soybean Board (USB).  With offices located in key market areas around the world, USSEC works to create, maintain and expand international markets for US soybeans.  Haigwood, of Newport, is a partner in a family farm that produces soybeans, rice, corn, grain sorghum and wheat.
